Significant milestone: emagine is awarded EcoVadis silver medal for sustainability

The international business and IT consultancy emagine, headquartered in Copenhagen, has obtained a silver certification from EcoVadis for work within sustainability and responsible business practices.

The certification places emagine among the top 11% of the over 100,000 companies that EcoVadis continuously assesses on a global scale.

“The silver medal is an important acknowledgement that, through a period of significant growth – at the latest in 2022 with two major acquisitions – we have succeeded in working strategically with sustainability. We emphasise getting a recognised external evaluation of our work with sustainability and the many processes behind it. We are very proud of the silver certification from EcoVadis, which marks a significant first step and an important motivation to expand the work of integrating sustainability into effective solutions for our clients”, says Jesper Diget, Group Chief People Officer at emagine.”

In addition to EcoVadis, emagine has joined the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI) and the UN Global Compact (UNGC). At the same time, ongoing sustainability reports give stakeholders opportunities to follow the organisation’s work with sustainability.

emagine’s work with sustainability has, among other things, intensified the use of green energy at the company’s addresses. At the same time, a new collaboration with several banks has led to agreements on sustainability-linked loans, where loans are linked to ESG goals.

“Our belief in sustainable initiatives is so strong that we have introduced sustainability-linked loans in partnership with selected banks. In addition to contributing to responsible business practices, this means that our performance and results in selected ESG areas have directly impacted the interest we pay in the bank”, says Jesper Diget.
